So we planned a two week vacation back east to Pete's parents house from June 25th thru July 9th. They have a beautiful home in Annapolis, Maryland that over looks the Chesapeake bay. The weather was... well, east coast weather, hot, humid, thunder storms at night but over all good ( we got a nice break from the smoke the is consuming California). Oma and Opa kept us busy. They had planned so many fun things for Mitchell to do. We did a pirate adventure, went to the Great Falls, took a day trip to Rehobeth Beach in Delaware, went to the zoo, played at a great park. We had a great time, the kids were spoiled with love, attention, trips and treats.
We made it there and back safely with some minor delays on the way out and a fire alarm evacuation in Dallas on the way home... All I have to say is evacuating an airport with two kids and hundreds of other people....NOT FUN.. plus we got to go through security AGAIN... That part was a nightmare...Anyhoo- we are back in Sacramento getting things back to normal.
Enjoy all the pictures of our trip. Oh yeah... our little Xanderoo started crawling on June 30th! It was great that his Oma and Opa were able to witness a major milestone.

Arrrrr, Matey! Thanks for sharing all those wonderful pictures from Annapolis. What a beautiful place to live! Your boys are so blessed to have such wonderful grandparents! Aye, shall we toast with a grog or one of Oma & Mitchell's smoothies?
