Another year has gone by... where does the time go? We had a beautiful and crazy Christmas season. Oma & Opa flew out from Annapolis for Christmas. My sister in laws mom flew out from Arizona to be with Kristin, her growing belly and Dieter this Christmas. Our boys were SPOILED... They also are very lucky because they got to open presents for 3 days straight!!! On the 23rd we drove down to my sister's house in Concord were we celebrated our Christmas with dad. We celebrate every year on the 23rd for the past 10 years- it is our "Krainock/Pereria" Christmas tradition. My stepbrothers and their significant others attend. It is the one time of year that we are all together- for the most part. Pete and I were able to sneak away for a few to visit my brother Jon, who is in a rehab facility right down the street from my sister's house. It was nice to see him. He is looking good and doing an awesome job! It is crazy but so much fun. Then on the 24th we do Christmas eve and dinner at Pete's brother's house. Kristin and Dieter and Penni (his mom in law) did such a fabulous job. Oma made a wonderful dinner for us. After dinner, the kids got to open their gifts. On Christmas morning the boys opened their gifts, later that day my mom and Lou came over with my nephews and the kids got to open more presents.
This year Mitchell was even more excited for Christmas because he bought presents for some of his family members. His preschool did a Santa Shop and each student is allowed to buy 10 gifts at $1.00 each- He picked out his gifts very carefully making sure it was the perfect gift, for the perfect family member... He did a great job.
Here are some pictures of our busy time. We are so blessed for our family and blessed to have our newest family members. May this year bring all of us good health and nothing but happiness. Happy New Years!!!
